Ruin of the mind
Fallen from attention
No more vigor remaining
Only resignation existing
To question the truth
In order to find Truth
Overpowered by the crowd
And left in the gutter
The crowd brings power,
Control and madness
While the mind lies fallen
Trampled by the masses
From deep within
The tattered will beckons
Clawing at the cellar door
In vain attempts to speak
What left to add
From the fallen mind
Outside of screams and cries
And sorrows of defeat
No more ingenuity
No more self volition
Just dreams of independence
Relative to the perception
The mental death occurs
With little fanfare
The mind long forgotten
Lying in ashes
Empathy brings no comfort
No solace is around
Only the persecution
Of a good mind turned stale
The mind lies dead
Defeated by answers
Left in its place
Shells of ignorance
