Friday morning haikus

Driving in this morning, on my usual country road between my small town that I live in and the small city I work in, I pass lots of farms.  This morning, with fog still around, and the Sun starting to rise above the horizon and tree lines, my head started filling up with haikus.  A few (all similar) that remain...

a lingering fog
sun, burning upon cornstalks
morning commences



fields, shrouded in gray
fog, clinging to existence
dying to the Sun



Sun, burning, rising,
clearing darkness from the world
illuminating
