Maia loves horses; has loved them for a couple years now. As such, Jackie and I have discussed off and on options around us for a horse camp or horse riding lessons, just to see if it's something she may have serious passion for or not. Well, in a case of fortuitious timing (at least for Maia), I made contact last week with a local place that offers riding lessons, and they had a weekly class starting this week for beginners.
Tonight was the first night. To say the least, Maia was pretty thrilled with her horse/pony for the evening, Teddy.
Maia did pretty good for her first time out. We'll see where it goes....
