I imagine Sunday night will be the most common day for me to run through my weekly attempts at exercise and weightloss. Its a good day for it, both signaling the beginning of the week and the drawing to an end of the weekend. Anyway, this week was not as productive as I would have liked it, but some things are unavoidable. I had to come home early Thursday afternoon due to some stuff, which mean that I had to get to work earlier on Friday morning to prep for some morning hearings, which did not allow me to get a workout in on Friday morning. Friday afternoon, Jackie and I left town to travel to Fort Wayne, going to a Komets hockey game on Friday night, and then having lunch with family on Saturday, and not coming back until Sunday morning. With all that going on, didn't really get a workout in on Saturday either, unless one considers the quick walk with Ellie.
Anyway, the final rundown was 45 minutes on the treadmill each day Monday through Thursday, with close but small variety in the miles - 1.95, 1.9, 1.9, and 1.98 for each day, respectively. Looking back, I am somewhat disappointed that I didn't get any extra days in; but I know that doing 4 says is much more than I have done in the past in a week like last week, and part of me is happy that I am disappointed with the "effort," as I think that will motivate me this week to get better. Just have to remember its a long haul.
I would like to work some other exercises into the morning besides the treadmill, maybe some sit ups and push ups, simple stuff, but not sure if I really have the time for it yet. I'd like to reduce my treadmill time and increase my distance, possibly, before really adding anything. We'll see how it goes. And so another week is about to begin.
