My usual Sunday post is the summary of my exercise attempts. Beginning Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon, I was out of town for my Firm's Retreat, up to Union Pier, Michigan. Because of that, attempting to gain some exercise Thursday or Friday morning was difficult, and it didn't happen. I was, however, able to continue the routine on Monday through Wednesday, for 45 minutes on the treadmill each day, with successive highs of 2.10, 2.12, and 2.15 miles. My next goal is to try and get to 2.25 miles in the 45 minutes I have allotted for exercise each morning during the week.
In part because I missed Thursday and Friday, I did the treadmill yesterday for 1 hour, totaling 2.92 miles. The last 15 minutes were very difficult, but I was glad that I put the extra work in to “make up” for missing two days this week. In sum, four days this week, meaning its been 5 straight weeks of at least 4 days of exercise. Its been nice and encouraging for me to sustain that level of consistency. Still waiting for some results that I can see or feel, but I have to remain hopeful and confident that it will eventually yield some measurable results.
